Days of Christmas which is seriously scratched, and as a
result, jumps all over the place. That's exactly what happens
in this piece as the familiar melody is cut up into segments
and redistributed using Messiaen's technique of interversion.
However, all is not chaos, as this is effected according to
a strict sequence of the numbers from 1 to 12 which is applied
on both a structural and a microcosmic level. So there.
