A
short, meditative piece clothed in the richest of sounds.
(Mark Shepherd)
Deliver me, O Lord, from eternal death on that dreadful day, when
the heavens and earth shall be moved, when Thou shalt come to
judge the world by fire. I am full of fear and I tremble, awaiting
the day of account and wrath to come. Day of wrath, day of mourning,
day of calamity and misery, that day great and most bitter. Eternal
rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon
them.
